ABOUT US
The Lihue Christian Church is a congregation of the United Church of Christ, which was formed from the 1957 merger of the Evangelical and Reformed Church and the Congregational Christian Churches.
We are a progressive mainline congregation with beliefs rooted in the Lutheran Calvanist, Reformed and Congregational traditions.
Historically, Lihue Christian Church was founded to serve the Japanese Christian community on Kauai. Today, Lihue Christian Church is becoming increasingly diverse in every way, as it lives out its commitment to be a house of worship that embraces all of God's people.
With more than 100 years of service on Kauai, Lihue Christian Church seeks to lift up the best of both the old and the new.
The adjacent 'Ae Kamali'i Preschool is a ministry of the Lihue Christian Church.
