The LCC Scholarship Committee was formed in October 2020 to financially assist active church members continuing their education at an accredited college. To apply, submit the following by April 1:

  1. Scholarship Application Form
  2. Letter of acceptance as a full time student from an accredited college (If acceptance is not received by April 1, please turn in as soon as it arrives.)
  3. Personal essay (please address the areas listed below in a double-spaced, typed essay):
    1. Strengths, challenges
    2. Educational goals
    3. Church involvement
    4. Service in the community
    5. Leadership
  4. Please arrange to have the following documents sent to the church office (2943 Kress St. #A Lihue, HI 96766), to be received by April 1st.
    1. Official school transcript
    2. Two letters of recommendation (teacher, counselor, coach, church member, community leader, employer)–provide each person with a stamped envelope addressed to the church office. Click here for Recommendation Guidelines
